firestudio project questions

hello, i've just received a firestudio project today.

here are the problems i got :
- when i plugged the power cable and turned it on, the red light lit up for a second then went out. after that, impossible to get that red light on. when i plugged the firewire cable, windows did not react.
is this red light always on when you turn on the firestudio project ?

- i tried to install drivers from the cd, and from the website, and i got the following errors after clicking the install button :

I'm using windows vista ultimate 64bits. it that the reason of these installation bugs ? i've tried different folders without success.

anyway, my firestudio project seams to be dead, i'll send it back to the reseller, but will there be some vista 64 bits drivers ?

i own a firebox, and it's working very well on vista 64.

there are no vista64 drivers for the firestudio yet. the drivers for the firebox are vista64. that explains your problems.
vista64 drivers are scheduled for the first quarter of 2008. presonus however is approx. half a year behind every schedule.....

i've tried on another pc (vista 32 bits), and the install is ok.
but the firestudio project is still dead.

i'll try to find another product from another brand, compatible with vista 64. thanks for help
