Alrighty, since this topuc is well addressed in other threads i now need no more explanation for the cause of this...ill live if sonar doesnt work for awhile until new drivers come...i loaded the cubase software that came with the FSP and it works great now...thanks tho

hi again nrm. how do the edit functions on cubase work for you. on macs the program is shutting down on editing functions. would be interested to know how that is working on your custom rig.

thanks

I havnt took much time to mess with it yet...i just made sure that i wasnt getting that popping noise that i was getting with sonar...I have the producer edition of sonar and honestly im likeing my cheap version of cubase better mainly because i have no latency with real-time monitoring in cubase...im hoping that i can change the latency settings in sonar because i would really like to use it but i havnt figured it out yet...so as for the edit functions i really havnt got to deep in it...but no problems really with cubase...

Do you have a FW TI chipset.? Have you tried the differnt driver modes and have you tried ajusting your latency. also try disabling X-rat in Options/global/General.
Do you have a graphics PCIe card. do you have any IRQ conflicts??
It can be may things, the more info you provide, the better the responces will be.

i already sent all my computer information to a presonus tech support guy and everything checked out fine...it was just sonar for right now...current drivers dont support it i guess...i loaded cubase and it works perfectly...im not gunna complain to much about cubase right now because im still just getting used to recording...but once the driver is up i rather be using sonar
