firebox, mac and logic........

Hi everybody.
I'm a proud Presonus Firebox owner. I've been playing and recording music on my toshiba laptop for a year and a half now, using logic audio 5.5 (last windows update available), and I've never had any kind of trouble. However I'm considering switching to Mac, just to have a chance to upgrade to logic 7 or 8, and I was wondering if my Firebox is going to get along fine with a minimac and these newer logic versions.... anybody can help?
