Ive searched around the forum a little (found the recommended tweaks) But i am still having problems with my inspire...here is whats happening.
Playing through the inspire is fine.. nice and clean sound as it should be, but as soon as i fire up cubase and monitor through that i am getting massive pops and crackles that renders the unit unusable, i might add that this is with a guitar going straight into the unit with a quality cable, i am using a 6to4 pin firewire cable and using the supplied psu to power the inspire.
It seems to be worse when i select the "inspire driver" in cubase.
The Laptop has a fresh install of xp pro, no surplus services running with background services selected and basicly has the minimum drivers running...i have defregmented ...registry cleaned and also the only software installed is the inspire driver and Cubase LE.
My specs are:
Dell XPS laptop
Intel Extreme edition p4 @ 3.4ghz
1gb Ram
Radeon M 9800
any help or insight would be greatly appreciated..cheers
