does anyone run windows xp and have two firepods connected

I need help to connect two firepods(daisy chain)
I am not able to get my pc to recognize my second firepod.
please someone help.

Before I turned the computer or firepod units on. I connected Firepod A from it's #1 FireWire port to the computer, connected the #1 FireWire port on FirePod B to the #2 FireWire portt on Firepod A. Turned everything on, and no probs.

Port #1 on Firepod B --------> Port #2 on Firepod A
Port #1 on Firepod A --------> Computer

When you're installing the FirePod Software it tells you to connects all Firepods in series before you install the driver. So if you didn't do that before. Turn off your Firepod units, make sure they're connected as i mentioned about, but do not connect the Firewire plug on the back of the computer yet. Go to Add\Remove programs in your Control panel on your computer, remove the firepod driver or presonus driver or whatever it's called. Reinstall the driver (by double clicking the driver you can download off presonus' site), and when prompted, reconnect the Firewire plug to the computer.

It should recognize both, it may take like a minute or two. Did for me the first time.

If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what's wrong. Maybe one (or both) of them is defective.
