to all the people that try to combine a presonus and a 3rd party interface to a mac osx aggregate:
it doesn't work! and it's not meant to work according to tech support
here's a quote on the subject of jon ward, technical support presonus:
"The firepod is designed to run as a aggregated device in OSX only when using multiple firepods. We have seen customers that have used the firepod and an internal soundcard in an aggregated setup, but it is not guaranteed to work properly, as it is not one of the listed functions of our unit. "
i wanted to use the firepod in a mac-aggregate together with an apogee AD/interface. recording through apogee, monitoring through presonus.
