Firepod & Logic Express 8 compatibility

I read on an Apple forum that the new Logic Express 8 does not work with the good ol' Firepod and that new drivers have to be downloaded from Presonus. Has anyone had to do this and can they please point me in the right direction? I just bought LE8 and I'm a total feeb when it comes to "new drivers" and updates.

I am running Logic PRO 8 with a firepod without a hitch, considering how similar the two are these days, I wonder what could be different?

To my knowledge, there are no drivers to install on Mac. I've used my 2 firepods with Logic Pro 8 using the aggregate device (which pairs them and makes it 20 channels) and saw no issues.
