I just bought a firepod and sonar 6 and can't get any input other than my first input to work. I did the ASIO selection thing and matched my smapling rates, etc. I also am on Vista and installed only the new Vista update on the site. But I can't record when I plug into any other input besides the first. In my Output and Inout selection in Sonar 6, It gives me only 4 options - not 8. It only gives me a Firepod ASIO Driver 00C7051010- Output 1L, then Output 3L, 5L and a 7L. None of them seem to work except for the first selection. Anyone have any suggestions or the same problem? Please advise.

In Tools, Audio on the Drivers tab, Make sure your input and output channels are checked.

The 4 inputs (shown in Cakewalk) are indeed all 8 inputs of the Firepod, just named differently. See this thread:

I had a similar problem in Cubase SX 3. I discovered that if I have a Stereo bus and a Mono Bus set up in my VST connections at the same time the Mono bus connections end up being shifted by one link number after the first input. That is to say that Bus number 2 has to be used with input number 3, bus number 3 has to be used with input number 4 and so on. If I set up an 8 mono bus patch with no other busses set up in my VST connections then the bus numbers and input number all line up correctly. This was very perpelexing problem until I noticed the number mis-alignment in the VST connection bus routing window.
