Anyone have that....? When my Sample rate on a project in Cubase SX is diffrent and the Rate is changed automatically, I get a nasty CRACK! through my speakers. I use all proper connections....and so on and so on.....
Anyone have any idea..?
take care.

I actually mute my monitors when I change rates. Yes, you're not alone - I get it too. Potentially dangerous to my tweeters, so I shut 'em down for transients like that.

That happens in most audio apps...it's the audio chips cutting and re-synching the signal. Muting is the way to go.

My FIREPOD does it, but it's not a loud crack...more like a quieter click. I always use my Central Station Remote to mute monitors when not in use or during audio app/computer startup.
